Currently, all over the world, Ukrainians are called a nation of brave people. Ukrainian soldiers are fighting bravely for their Motherland. Russian troops attacking Ukrainian cities are meeting unprecedented resistance. The peoples of all countries of the world saw that Ukrainians were boldly going into battle with more numerous enemy forces; they are ready to die in defence of their country, their homes, their principles, their rights and their future.​

The title of one of Rudy Krymsky’s art works is associated with the main slogan of the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity of 2013–2014: “GLORY TO UKRAINE! GLORY TO THE HEROES!". This slogan includes the idea of an independent Ukraine that wants to be a democratic state. The slogan also contains the idea of Ukraine's struggle against its colonization by Russia.

In the painting “GLORY TO THE HEROES” the goddess Victoria is depicted with a sword (symbolizing the fighting spirit of Ukraine), who is ready to fight the enemy together with the Ukrainians. She supports the hero soldier who gives his life for the Freedom of his country and the Ukrainian people. Together they trample on the body of a double-headed eagle (symbolizing the Russian Empire, the Russian World, tyranny, evil, violence, war crimes), which is guilty of the murders and suffering of millions of people.
