In the painting “EVIL EMPIRE” (one of the names of Russia), the artist depicted a participant in an anti-war demonstration in the image of Adam (a replica from Michelangelo’s fresco “The Creation of Adam”). In the role of executioners beating Adam, people are depicted in uniforms with the inscriptions REPRESSION, PROPAGANDA, RELIGION, CORRUPTION, CRIMINAL, GENOCIDE. Adam's torturers symbolize the basic mechanisms of violence in the Evil Empire. In the image of Adam, the artist reflected not only his personal pain and suffering (the author himself went through similar trials), but also the suffering of many other people in Ukraine, as well as repressed people in Russia who opposed the war. The artist feels a spiritual connection with them and with his art seeks to express a protest against the dictatorial regime that unleashed a terrible war. The Russian authorities act ruthlessly to achieve their criminal goals. They send millions of their soldiers to die in war. They arrest, torture and kill their citizens who oppose the war. Politician Alexei Navalny was killed in a Russian prison in February 2024. Other political opponents of Putin's dictatorial regime continue to suffer in Russian prisons.

By placing characters from famous paintings and sculptures in his works, Rudy Krymsky significantly enhances the impact on the public. The incredible energy emanating from his art makes the images linger in the minds of viewers for a long time. The artist conveys a message to the viewer through his paintings: “STOP THIS NIGHTMARE! YOU SHOULD DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO SUPPORT UKRAINE".
